There’s a hard truth that comes with growth: not every friendship is meant to last forever.
Some connections change. Some start to hurt. And some no longer align with who you’re becoming — even if they once meant everything to you.

Outgrowing Isn’t the Same as Abandoning
Outgrowing a friendship doesn’t mean you don’t care. It means you’ve reached a point where staying costs you more than leaving.
You’re allowed to choose peace over history. You’re allowed to change your boundaries. You’re allowed to prioritize your emotional well-being.
Protecting Your Peace Can Feel Lonely
Letting go isn’t easy. Even when it’s the right decision, it can still feel sad, confusing, or isolating.
But peace often comes after discomfort — not before it.
Not every ending needs to be dramatic to be valid. Sometimes the healthiest thing you can do is quietly step away and trust that it’s for the best.
Until next time…
xoxo,
