I need answers, because the idea of walking into a bar alone feels both intimidating and kind of iconic.
Like… are you confident? Are you bored? Are you romanticizing your life? Or are you just built differently?

The Curiosity Is Real
I’ve always wondered if going out alone is empowering or terrifying — maybe both. On one hand, it sounds freeing. On the other, it feels like something you either master or never attempt again.
Do you:
Sit at the bar and people-watch?
Make friends with strangers?
Leave after one drink?
I genuinely want to know.
There’s Something Bold About It
There’s confidence in showing up solo. No safety net, no group chat, no one to hide behind. Just you, a drink, and whatever happens next.
Even if you don’t stay long, there’s something kind of powerful about proving to yourself that you can do it.
Maybe going out alone isn’t weird — maybe it’s just under-discussed. Either way, I’m curious where people land on this because I know I’m not the only one wondering.
Until next time…
xoxo,
